Temporal Affairs
A downloadable Temporal Affairs for Windows
Description:
Game made for Scream Jam 2025. Become an agent of the United States Department of Temporal Affairs and help track down and resolve temporal anomalies, wherever they might manifest.
Temporal Affairs is an observation game where you will be equipped with the Anomaly Disruptor, a specially designed device used to remove anomalies that you will encounter. If you like observation games, then this game is for you!
Controls:
RMB | Inspect your disruptor |
RMB + Scroll | Change the anomaly setting on the disruptor |
LMB | Aim and press LMB to trigger removal if the setting is correct |
Shift | Sprint |
E | Interact |
F | Flashlight |
How To Play:
Once you arrive to the investigation site, you have around 2 minutes to take a look around and become familiar with the household objects. Take note of their location, size and how many as this will be key to removing anomalies.
When you spot an anomaly, change to the correct setting on the Anomaly Disruptor device by holding RMB and using Scroll Wheel. Once you have the correct setting, point and aim at the anomaly (until the crosshair gains a square in the center of reticle) and press LMB to remove the anomaly.
Death:
If you reach 5 active anomalies at once (the 5 LEDs on the device will light up based on how many there are, as well as play a low pitched beep when a new one starts) then the player will experience adverse effects not compatible with life. You will have only a short period of time to bring the active anomaly count below 5.
Win:
Survive until 6am. Anomaly occurrence rate will increase as you get closer to 6am.
